Mrs. McGaha's Blog

My name is Kristen McGaha.

I currently teach algebra II, trigonometry, and ACE math at Byng High School.  I also coordinate all of our spring scholastic meet competitions.

My husband, Clint,  teaches science and coaches at Byng HS. I have two children who both attend Byng JH.

I began teaching in 1991 at Pleasant Grove School in Seminole County.  I also taught at Caney Valley High School in Ramona, Oklahoma from 1992 to 1998.

Through the years I have taught  the following:
6th grade math, 7th grade math, pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, geometry, trig, calculus, applied math, 8th grade computer science, and assistant coach for the JH academic team.

I am very excited to be teaching at Byng Schools – a place with high standards, expectations of excellence, and GREAT students.   Thanks for sharing your student with me this school year.
